The artwork „Zeitweise2“ (temporary2) consists of marble, gneiss, epoxy resin, and steel, utilizing the principle of scaffoldings. Fragile stones dangle from the steel pipes, and delicate marble pieces rest on a steel shelf. The artwork is based on a cycle that revolves around the idea of constant rebuilding. After being displayed at least once, the stones are removed from the frame and crushed to small pieces to create plates for an accessible space within the installation. As a result, this space gradually fills up, creating the impression of a wall-like structure.
The stones that are purchased will be taken out of the cycle.
